Our Mission, Vision, and Values

Established in 2019, Healing Partners of the Central Coast (HPCC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free Healing Touch (HT) therapy sessions to cancer patients and their caregivers. Healing Touch is a scientifically proven integrative therapy that can offset the side effects of radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery and help reduce fatigue, anxiety, stress, appetite loss, pain, and lymphedema.

Each HT Recipient is paired with a highly trained, compassionate HT Provider for free weekly one-hour sessions over the course of eight weeks.  Our Providers work in concert with the patient’s medical team to ensure HT complements their treatment plan. Over 95% of HPCC Participants report significant positive benefits from their HT sessions.

In addition to Healing Touch therapy, HPCC provides ongoing training and development for Providers. We also support continuing education for nurses and actively recruit nurses and medical professionals for Healing Touch training for self-care and improved patient experience. HPCC’s local outreach/advocacy initiatives support the well-being of our community and ensure we reach the underserved.
