Future Initiatives
Primary Initiatives of HPCC
HPCC places high value on pursuing goals and opportunities aligned with our mission, vision, and values. To continue our forward movement, HPCC is engaged in initiatives based on building internal strength, outreach, and service to the community, and collaboration with financial and healthcare partners.
Strengthening the Program:
Raise awareness of HPCC’s program for cancer patients by reaching out to oncologists and the medical community to increase referrals
Enlarge the base of highly qualified Providers by recruiting past HT recipients, nurses, or healers with backgrounds in other healing modalities, to learn Healing Touch (HT) and become program volunteers
Supply ongoing training for Providers, helping them to reach higher levels of HT skills, while exposing them to current research and presentations that support mental health and self-care
Expand the monthly Healing Circle attendance for Providers and program alumni (another free service)
Establish additional HT treatment sites for easy access to HPCC programs
Bolstering Financial Foundations:
Develop a stable base of corporate and business sponsors
Increase grant opportunities – local, regional, national
Outreach and Collaborations:
Support health and well-being within our community through outreach initiatives in collaboration with healthcare institutions and aligned nonprofits
Outreach to the underserved and advocacy for their care and well-being
Partner with oncologists and cancer care teams to increase referrals
Participate in community healthcare events (Nurses Week, Cancer Survivor’s Day, or Stand Down for homeless veterans)
Offer presentations to local organizations and businesses
Increase the respect and acceptance by medical professionals and the community for the effectiveness and power of energy-based therapies
Host HT classes in locations that give high visibility to medical professionals
