In Monterey County, there are many active nonprofit organizations all wanting to garner your support.  HPCC is a one-of-a-kind nonprofit organization offering free life-changing Healing Touch care to local cancer patients.

A major portion of our fundraising comes through the individual donations we receive during the annual MC Gives! Fundraising Campaign in which 205 worthy organizations are participating. As a participant, we have been blessed this year with the opportunity to DOUBLE the value of eachdonation due to a generous matching grant.

Your gift will help provide cancer patients with free Healing Touch sessions that bring about a new sense of well-being by reducing pain, anxiety, and stress, and increasing their strength, resilience, and coping skills. Patients report a sense of empowerment as they become more proactive in their own self-care.

When you make a donation to HPCC, you directly expand the free service we can provide to cancer patients. Here’s how:

•   Provide more patients with free Healing Touch sessions

•   Recruit, train and grow a highly qualified Provider base

•   Develop ongoing education opportunities for Providers to ensure the highest quality of care

•   Hold monthly meetings to nurture and promote self-care among Providers who regularly deal with late-stage cancer patients with dire diagnoses

•   Develop collaborative outreach programs that offer Healing Touch to in-hospital patients

•   Raise community awareness of the important benefits of Healing Touch through outreach and advocacy programs
